On Tuesday, Oct 7, I received the Daily Post's endorsement for City Council. "He's been a voice of reason," the Post said, "avoiding drama and leading council through difficult waters."
I'm pleased to have this endorsement and the recognition of my "contributions to council in the past four years," including my work with the city budget and the AB 1690 bill that was recently passed by the state legislature and signed by Gov. Brown.
"His background in finance has helped the city avoid money problems," says the Daily Post. "And he's worked with state legislators to address problems with the ABAG housing quotas. He helped bring about a new law, signed by Gov. Jerry Brown over the weekend, that allows cities to count housing in mixed-use developments toward their housing quotas."
Thanks, Daily Post!
